ACTIVITY REWARDS
AC REWARDS
Since Kenos is a plot-heavy game based on engaging with other characters and the setting, we want to reward people that go above and beyond! Kenos does this through a Token system, which is a set of OOC rewards that translate to IC rewards. Using Tokens, you can make augment your character’s powers (or make completely new ones), get plot clues, or buy an exotic pet, to name a few things!
Tokens can be used to purchase items from the list below. If you have an idea for something you might like to use tokens on that isn’t listed or aren't sure how many tokens your idea would cost, feel free to ask! Mods may adjust the Token cost for some requests, since below are guidelines, and specific requests may fall into a different Token cost depending on the capabilities of the request.
Note, the Power Cap applies to all purchased items and powers, so they may require adjustment to fit underneath these limitations!
Finally, this system also includes a Powerlevel Discount. As a part of your application acceptance, you were assigned a Level based on the powers you described in your application. This Level entitles you to a discount of the prices above, which is as follows:
This discount is to help address power creep and try and make the stakes of the game more even. This way characters who come into the game well-equipped from their canon don’t dominate others, which results in better tension and stakes! With that in mind, mods may reduce or take away a character’s discount as they become more evenly matched with higher Levels, which you will be informed of.
In addition, this page is also used to share and submit your Notable Actions! Notable Actions sounds fancy, but it’s essentially a summary of what your character did during the month! This helps the Loremaster team by giving a good view of what characters are up to and interested in so that we can help the world be responsive to character actions. This summary can be a bulleted list or prose, and we would love it if it also included links, but it doesn’t have to. For an example of what we’re looking for, see this comment which shows the general format and what you can expect from rewards and/or this comment, which is a character played by one of the Loremasters!
Notable actions should include things that have been threaded out this month, but can also include hand-waved interactions about interacting with the world of Kenos at large, and we in fact recommend this! Is your character a regular at a bar? Did they start modeling for a clothing shop they like? Or maybe they're often seen at one of the city's libraries this month because they're deeply researching a new topic. Let us know, since this helps us get a sense of what your character's interests in the world are and can help us create more customized hooks for your character in turn!
IC, characters are asked to at least check in with their faction’s second-in-command once a month, since they’re similarly interested in what characters are getting up to. This check-in is at the character’s leisure and meant to be casual IC as well! Depending on what characters tell their respective NPC, they may get special information or missions that are relevant to what they’ve been doing IC, or the NPC may be the one to ICly grant them the boon that’s bought OOC with Tokens. For more on your faction’s NPC, you can read up on both Cetina (Meridian) or Kathova (Zenith).
If your character does not have a faction affiliation, they’re not missing out, don’t worry! They may still receive information and/or missions, but they’re more likely to come from a generic, unnamed NPC instead. In terms of boons, you’re free to figure out how it’s received or hash it out with the mods.
(We also recommend keeping your Character Survey up to date, since you never know when a mod might think to reference it, hint hint!)

TOKENS

D
July 2023
Almost immediately upon arrival at the end of the previous month, D harmonized to Meridian since a) he understands being harmonized is beneficial, and b) he vibes with Meridian's ideals at least on old world revival.
During July, aside from poking around Springstar and Highstorm on his own, he spent a lot of his time speaking to the people shoving their brain pans inside of his brain pan: Hayame, Dark, Rin, Midna, and Bondrewd. He just wanted to get a feel of what some of the people here were like. He gets awful Nobility vibes from Midna unfortunately, and he unintentionally made Bon interested. HELP HIM.
Since he and Byleth hit it off decently well at his arrival, he decided to pay Byleth's park a visit where he chatted to Byleth about writing and what it's like to be a lonely monster and showed Link his world through the Sunbeam.
Being a Hunter and also wanting to explore the area more, D's major foray was falling in with Dextera and Dokja to search the Alenroux woods with other teams for info about the monsters. The D Team really had a time... Afterward, Dextera was going through it, so he reached out since they had worked as a team previously.
Then he gets thrown into the beach episode party. He has some spa time with Liem where they will end up tying each other up because they stupidly ran out of the mud room. He and Gen bully the snot out of each other when he's a lil unstable. And he shows Dimitri his Sunbeam.

We all pushed the forest romp from the other month until after the beach episode, so technically, D would have been affected by their sacrifice to break the curse during the oracle month, I think, HELP ME. He gave up his memory/desire to find the Sacred Ancestor, so it wasn't too big of a deal thread-wise.
Before the Oracle event, Set became delusional and gave him a lil mental ring to tell him about the temple Set and Liem found (and also to get more delusional).
In the Oracle event, D kept a very hunter approach to most everything. His main concerns were fighting over the Effigy items (like with Gen), finding his own items (like with Liem), and also returning the items he could sense/find to their rightful owners (like with Vergil).
Byleth and Kim Dokja helped him out when he was babyfied after Silco debuffed him.

End of Alenroux shenanigans continue! D wrinkled Left Hand, but got an interesting response from the cornerstone before they all destroyed them. He let everyone know afterward in Liem's communion that Dextera was gone. He had a chat with Sebastian about the fucky cornerstone effects.
Oracle event updates: The awkwardness of Eustace being in love with him and kissing him, help me. Silco heckled and debuffed him into a child, but he learned a little more of what kind of person Silco actually is (IT'S BAD).
Post Oracle, D reached out through Yuri to help Dark with his troubles (and to also get help himself). After Dark's giant Bondrewd-discord-overloard fiasco, D again assisted with his troubles, and he's surprisingly a little worried about the state of Dark. Mans is not doing good here. D also reached out to Kim Dokja to try to see if the guy is alright post Alenroux and also post un-aliving. Eustace sent him a lil communion to apologize, and maybe they are friends now in their own weird stoic way. He dropped into the Meridian jail to visit Gen and snuck in something like an anpan for him shhh.
For the TDM, he ran into a few of the newbies and got a taste of what it was like to not be green and on that side of things for once. He offered them a sort of helpful hand where he could.

Chatted to both Kiritsubo and Lessa over Communion. Both of them threw him for a loop in opposite ways. HELP.
Got swindled into assisting Gen (and Atsumu) with Gen's quest by putting his stupid goth schtick to good use. SPEAKING OF GEN, while visiting Gen in jail, he heard some things about Liem; however, D trusts Gen only as far as he can throw the guy, so he pays Liem a visit like a vampire hunting weirdo. IT'S HONESTLY JUST TO TALK. He gets to learn a lil more about Wiem and extends an offer for blood pills if he can ever find any way to somehow make them here. At the Spookyween event, he and Dimitri have a WONDERFUL time sharing lore to escape a haunted mansion, he wins
AmosTimothy a childhood mug, and he and Childe fuck around and find out with parade candy.When Aetós appeared, he had a short chat with them.
He deposits a romance story secretly for Byleth since formerly Byleth had been so into them when they first met. Also, he had a dinner date with the Dokja residence to meet Gray which is going as awkwardly as one would expect when Dokja is involved.

November 2023
He hit up ol' Cyrus in the wide-spread communion, asking a few things and talking amongst the Meris. Got into it with Voryn a little in regards to Silco; he is starting to put together who Silco actually is slowly. He doesn't participate in the Meri burn book communion, but does listen in on it.
Val is mean to me and Eustace, so D turns Eustace into a Capri Sun after going so long again without blood. Trouble in paradise in the Dokja household. Eustace guilts him into telling Dokja about being a dhampir and juiceboxing Eustace later.
Sweet Hayame pays him a communion visit about helping with the Sebastian situation which he agrees because he fucking hates experimentation on people. Very hehe since the Oracle event happens next.
D goes in a little more gung-ho about winning Meridian specifically because of the Harbinger's effect. His goal is less ruthless violence and more survival to reach the end of the maze. He runs into Gen and Rin in one of the weird labyrinth rooms. Gen and D are stricken with the Hunger, and D turns Gen into his second juicebox to both satiate his desire and to get Gen out of the trance. Covers the mods' eyes with Rin's thread....... I GUESS THEY WILL FUCK? They fight over being D/s since they're both freaks. Don't look.
Getting laid before getting beat to shit, nice. THEN HE RUNS INTO SILCO. His arch-nemesis... Finally puts two and two together on who Silco is! Anyhow, they tussle, and Silco will eventually summon Sebastian. They will have a nice too OP fight, and then Sebastian chops off his left arm (:catcry: for Lefty) to give it to the effigy in the room. He will keep Lefty's shard.
Since Eustace is linked to him now from the bite, he can feel Eustace eat it when Childe gets a hold of him, so he goes on a search for Eustace's Shard (to return it to Dokja & Gray) and confronts Childe. Since he's down an arm from the Sebastian fight, I am gonna make him fall off the bridge onto a few spikes so Childe can abscond with the Shard. :') After, he sends a bat messenger to Dokja to break the news. RIP. He doesn't want to upset Gray during Oracle, so he will tell her after about Eustace.

:RIPS OFF SHIRT: ORACLE AFTERMATH, LET'S GOOO. D didn't do a whole lot in December other than attempt to sort the pieces of himself post Oracle. :tails:
He starts off by checking in on Gen which turns into a whole MESS including cluttering up the Dokja household. (This probably didn't help his social standing at Bloody Marie's, ig.) D had already been filling up with more self-hatred for the way the Harbinger Oracle made him act, and Gen really is just out here making it worse by coercing him into bitting more! (i love and thank gen)
Eustace tsunderely thanks him for attempting to retrieve his Shard from Childe during the Oracle. They have a lil father-son chat while D tries really hard to get him to fucking sit down, but Eustace refuses. I forgot they talk about Dokja and what it means to be happy. I hate doing this every month and seeing how much of a dingdong D has been.

Ran head-first into Manabu, Grace, Subaru, Tony, Yuber, and Therion for the TDM.
Got accosted by Eustace regarding Dokja's upcoming February birthday. Ended up subjected the rest of them to probably wearing party hats. He hates his life.
GOT ACCOSTED BY GEN WITH TDM APHRO, help me. Why is he always sleeping with the enemy?! Covers all of these wild shenanigans happening with my hands.
Oh, he also leveled up to T3 Meridian. :') The war may be stupid, but he wants to be on the "right" side of it.

This was the shortest month, why was it so crazy.
Cyrus's assassination plot went down in the first half! D spent a lot of his time during the chaos trying to make sure Springstar's people were okay: Shez, Nebula, and Gray.
He tried to keep Matt, as someone not Meridian, busy by exploring the libraries to see what they could find. He also did some exploring in the Emporio District with Liem to see if they could find out anything about Agapitos Voreen, one of the dudes gunning for Cyrus's now empty seat.
Afterward, he decides to make an attempt to use Reincarnate on Cyrus's body with Set nearby. HE GETS THE MOST HORRIFIC RESPONSE BACK, HELLO! A little bit later, he fights his loner status and does a Meridian communion to alert everyone to what horrors he found inside of Cyrus's body.
All of this really busted the Dokja's household trying to throw Dokja a bday party, HELP ME. They will throw it later.
After the Highstorm blast beam, D actually (and stupidly) sneaks into Highstorm to a) check on a few people, and b) speak to Amos about Cyrus and the assassination, using his horse as both a distraction cover and a placating gift to Amos. Along the way, he runs into Atsumu and Rin, and tries to figure out if Gen made it out of the manor destruction okay. They're linked, so, like, he could tell, but he knows Gen isn't very honest with him about Gen things. ANYWAY COVERS THE STUPID TEENS WITH MY HANDS.
His efforts with Hayame's eye is put on brief hold during the attack on Springstar, but post attack, he doubles down on his efforts to scout for an appropriate surgeon, thinking he'll have much better luck when they are needed for any injured.
Moving forward, he is very interested in the scope of his new Cyrus body findings and any info about fake Shards, etc. because he thinks it may be something that effects everyone. He plans to see if he can maybe dig up an Aetós trail, or at least speak to Aetós briefly somehow just to see if Aetós has any info on the weird oblivion. Set also pointed him in the direction of Manon when D and the others were focusing in their talk on finding more people with Shard info, or bodies to test Reincarnation on.

He participated a little in a few back and forths during Claude's Meridian gossip post. Notably, he has the go-ahead from Hayame to recruit Flat for back alley surgery post Oracle. Very hilarious that the Oracle threw them into a timeskip.
During the Oracle, he crushes Rin's Dreamer Shard at her behest, and then also crushes his own Dreamer Shard once they get to Ransylvia. Otherwise, he was very low-key during the Repose, taking in each world as they came without harming anything inside, feeling soft about his own, and traversing with Chloe, Tony, and Raphael.

The way I have to update to say he sold his soul to Raphael, hate that.
Having woke up with the vampire hunger and trying so hard to stave off the urge to no avail, he pops into the Taxfest, moved by the Thirst, and runs into Liem there to create some bisexual problems.
Running into Matt was supposed to be about the Cyrus-Oblivion secrecy, but bisexual Thirst problems continue to happen, so he ends up having a drink. HE FEELS BETTER NOW. Well, he feels better physically, but not emotionally since he has bitten yet another person.
In speaking with Aetós, he finds out a little about Oblivion, then stupidly signs up as a volunteer for testing. He also chatted with Voreen a bit since despite everything that has gone down, this is now the current Tribune, and D doesn't think there is any sense in causing problems about it yet.
