ACTIVITY REWARDS
AC REWARDS
Since Kenos is a plot-heavy game based on engaging with other characters and the setting, we want to reward people that go above and beyond! Kenos does this through a Token system, which is a set of OOC rewards that translate to IC rewards. Using Tokens, you can make augment your character’s powers (or make completely new ones), get plot clues, or buy an exotic pet, to name a few things!
Tokens can be used to purchase items from the list below. If you have an idea for something you might like to use tokens on that isn’t listed or aren't sure how many tokens your idea would cost, feel free to ask! Mods may adjust the Token cost for some requests, since below are guidelines, and specific requests may fall into a different Token cost depending on the capabilities of the request.
Note, the Power Cap applies to all purchased items and powers, so they may require adjustment to fit underneath these limitations!
Finally, this system also includes a Powerlevel Discount. As a part of your application acceptance, you were assigned a Level based on the powers you described in your application. This Level entitles you to a discount of the prices above, which is as follows:
This discount is to help address power creep and try and make the stakes of the game more even. This way characters who come into the game well-equipped from their canon don’t dominate others, which results in better tension and stakes! With that in mind, mods may reduce or take away a character’s discount as they become more evenly matched with higher Levels, which you will be informed of.
In addition, this page is also used to share and submit your Notable Actions! Notable Actions sounds fancy, but it’s essentially a summary of what your character did during the month! This helps the Loremaster team by giving a good view of what characters are up to and interested in so that we can help the world be responsive to character actions. This summary can be a bulleted list or prose, and we would love it if it also included links, but it doesn’t have to. For an example of what we’re looking for, see this comment which shows the general format and what you can expect from rewards and/or this comment, which is a character played by one of the Loremasters!
Notable actions should include things that have been threaded out this month, but can also include hand-waved interactions about interacting with the world of Kenos at large, and we in fact recommend this! Is your character a regular at a bar? Did they start modeling for a clothing shop they like? Or maybe they're often seen at one of the city's libraries this month because they're deeply researching a new topic. Let us know, since this helps us get a sense of what your character's interests in the world are and can help us create more customized hooks for your character in turn!
IC, characters are asked to at least check in with their faction’s second-in-command once a month, since they’re similarly interested in what characters are getting up to. This check-in is at the character’s leisure and meant to be casual IC as well! Depending on what characters tell their respective NPC, they may get special information or missions that are relevant to what they’ve been doing IC, or the NPC may be the one to ICly grant them the boon that’s bought OOC with Tokens. For more on your faction’s NPC, you can read up on both Cetina (Meridian) or Kathova (Zenith).
If your character does not have a faction affiliation, they’re not missing out, don’t worry! They may still receive information and/or missions, but they’re more likely to come from a generic, unnamed NPC instead. In terms of boons, you’re free to figure out how it’s received or hash it out with the mods.
(We also recommend keeping your Character Survey up to date, since you never know when a mod might think to reference it, hint hint!)

TOKENS
Tokens are earned through going above and beyond with game participation in the following ways:- Completing Bonus AC (1 token)

Bondrewd

Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?:
As a new arrival, Bondrewd spent his time establishing himself in Highstorm, but also visited Alenroux and the Zoo, during the Vander Retrieval Arc and spent time briefly at the World's Edge. He's just getting started, give him time.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?:
Primarily Yima's mansion, as that is where his quarters currently are. He potentially visited Kowloon in the hopes of locating a suitable place where he might set up a laboratory once he has settled in. He visited the World's Edge with Kaeya, to retrieve the rare flowers with Blight-thwarting potential to bring them for replanting in the Greenwood Yards, as well.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?:
— He did rescue a Springstar guard from one of Alenroux's monsters, I guess. How nice!
— [ Thread ongoing, but ] he worked with
god, I mean, John Gaius to find a monster nest potentially full of eggs. I intend for them both to take at least one egg a piece, presuming that they were viable ( if not, nbd, it's omelette time ).— Assisted in the Vander Rescue, though primarily he was focused on investigating the Zoo for information and purposefully putting himself on Aetós's radar. He's just so enamored with this person's work! Liem and Sebastian chewed on him. It was so adorable.
— Lastly, he spent time assisting Kaeya at the World's Edge, doing the heavy lifting like a gallant gentleman while chatting about his interest in the Blight, Aspects, souls and shards, etc.

Why yes, he hopes he was of some help to Highstorm. Assisting Kaeya in collecting the rare flowers was his key contribution, I feel, although he did tangentially assist Springstar/Meridian by participating in the Vander Rescue's vicinity.

Highstorm and Kowloon, without a doubt. He did spend some time being helpful in Springstar for SCIENCE, though.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?:
His steadily-developing laboratory/research station in Kowloon ♡♡♡, and the Burning Garden! He also attends the Gilden Academy of Medical Sciences, and dabbles in lessons at Starwatcher's Spire.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?:
— During phase 1 of the event, he met with Byleth before the eyes of other Springstar citizens, assisted Amos with drawing people out of their delusions in Highstorm, and helped Gavial collect and investigate the native-Meridian effects of the Blight.
— In part 2, he was involved with rescue efforts and field examination of the worsening Blight effects in Highstorm!

— Hopefully, his research with Sebastian in Highstorm was not observed by prying eyes.
— Furthermore, he continues to "contribute" by researching the Blight alongside John Gaius and Akua, using the time-locked figure of a Blighted individual provided to them by Aetos.

He maintains his presence in quiet, normally in steadily-developing laboratory/research station in Kowloon ♡♡♡, and the Burning Garden! He also attends the Gilden Academy of Medical Sciences, and dabbles in lessons at Starwatcher's Spire.

Not this month! He was busy being part of the ship part of the crew as an Effigy in the Bad End Version of Kenos. It was not a pleasant place to him, and he's quite devoted to ensuring it does not ever come to pass ( until Zenith wins and they can shuttle everyone to the new world on some ark or something ).

— :> Still puttering away in the Burning Gardens and his lab for the Blight.
— He took part in the battle for the Oracle, yippee! He also ended up counter-contributing to Springstar by being converted to their cause...

Description:Bondrewd will begin seeking to reacquire Zoaholic. I expect this to take several months, beginning in July when he returns to Zenith and begins to work in earnest for the Faction alone, and require ample preparation and participation in enhancing Zenith's power to attain! I'm just buying in ahead of time.
The limitations I will put on Zoaholic's use are as follows: though I joke, he cannot actually inhabit the bodies of either Faction Leader; participation in Zoaholic's hivemind must be either willing, or require 2 IC months of preparation to overtake a particular NPC mind
(here's looking at you, pope nat); no Shard-bearers of the current generation can be included in the hivemind, even if willing. At T1, he can only have two bodies (the one he will inhabit, and the spare) available in the hivemind, but can release one from service to acquire a new one. The number of bodies in the hivemind would increase by 1 for every Harmonization Tier (a max. of 5 bodies at T4, if reached). He has to have a safe place to put it, too. It is not indestructible, so destroying it will nullify the hivemind — and once he has established said hivemind, destruction of Zoaholic will destroy him too. Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?:
This month, Bondrewd was Harmonized to Meridian and spent most of his time in Springstar and Kowloon, but also had a small "out of time" stay on the Scorching Isles and a daily visit to Highstorm. He will probably return to Zenith at the beginning of July.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?:
— In Kowloon, he spent time at the old factory-style building where he has been setting up his lab, as well as Silco's outpost in Ryad, since he was invited.
— In Highstorm, he continued his lessons at the medical academy and visited Sebastian's home to tutor him. He also prepared to bring Byleth onboard for future experiments of his own, as well as obtaining answers for Byleth.
— Springstar was a wild ride! He visited a lot of venues to assess them, including a stay at the Mnemosyno Sending in the Coliseum to support grieving people. He visited Heliopolis to steal sap and OOPSIE.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?:
— Visiting Ryad under Silco's banner, probably.
— He threw his lot in with the Kenos Ambassador program, to serve as one of the more practical and rational minds affiliated with it.
— Failed to acquire the sap from Meridian's Tree, and got himself banned from Heliopolis with Rosaria. 8)
— Throughout the month, Bondrewd continued to work with the Blight crew to disseminate and put into practice the results of their research on the Scorching Isles. He worked across Springstar and Highstorm to instruct them on how to cure both physical and environmental Blight!

— He continues to primarily contribute to Kowloon/Highstorm, via his work supporting Silco... yikes...

Probably a 2.8, because he's spent a lot of time forgetting it exists and he works directly with two Iconoclasts in the Gardens. Also, because stealing sap (whether successfully or unsuccessfully) from Meridian's Tree while Meridian would really fuck him up. How cute!
Did Your Character Check In? Yes. He'd definitely greet Cetina, even after all the shit he pulled this month.

— Formally returned to Zenith, with a new passion for his work and a vision to boot!
— Continued to work on annihilating the rest of the Blight, supporting his patron ( Silco ) and met with Byleth to uncover answers about his existence.
— In meeting with Byleth, Bondrewd obtained several samples of Byleth's biology, which notably manifest the ability to mutate non-Crest-bearing subjects.
— Bondrewd promptly set about using some extra samples to work towards the creation of his "Furry Slurry", a for-fun-and-profit version of his ultimate goal.
— He acquired the first subject he would test on, that being Gen!, and set a date for the preliminary testing ( September ).
— Spoke with Aetós and agreed to push at least one Shardbearer into Tier 4 Discord! For science!
— Meeting with Amos, Rosaria and Sebastian was of vital importance as well, as he has confirmed his intention to support Zenith toward their goals, as they align with his own and general inquisitiveness.
— Toward the end of the month, he also attended the resort vacation on Xanadu with great delight!

Existed on Xanadu?? None, really. For such an identifiable guy, he really works to remain out of sight and out of mind. For obvious reasons.

Strongly to Kowloon; although he entered a few agreements with Zenites that will definitely lean his efforts toward supporting Highstorm from here on out.
