ACTIVITY REWARDS
AC REWARDS
Since Kenos is a plot-heavy game based on engaging with other characters and the setting, we want to reward people that go above and beyond! Kenos does this through a Token system, which is a set of OOC rewards that translate to IC rewards. Using Tokens, you can make augment your character’s powers (or make completely new ones), get plot clues, or buy an exotic pet, to name a few things!
Tokens can be used to purchase items from the list below. If you have an idea for something you might like to use tokens on that isn’t listed or aren't sure how many tokens your idea would cost, feel free to ask! Mods may adjust the Token cost for some requests, since below are guidelines, and specific requests may fall into a different Token cost depending on the capabilities of the request.
Note, the Power Cap applies to all purchased items and powers, so they may require adjustment to fit underneath these limitations!
Finally, this system also includes a Powerlevel Discount. As a part of your application acceptance, you were assigned a Level based on the powers you described in your application. This Level entitles you to a discount of the prices above, which is as follows:
This discount is to help address power creep and try and make the stakes of the game more even. This way characters who come into the game well-equipped from their canon don’t dominate others, which results in better tension and stakes! With that in mind, mods may reduce or take away a character’s discount as they become more evenly matched with higher Levels, which you will be informed of.
In addition, this page is also used to share and submit your Notable Actions! Notable Actions sounds fancy, but it’s essentially a summary of what your character did during the month! This helps the Loremaster team by giving a good view of what characters are up to and interested in so that we can help the world be responsive to character actions. This summary can be a bulleted list or prose, and we would love it if it also included links, but it doesn’t have to. For an example of what we’re looking for, see this comment which shows the general format and what you can expect from rewards and/or this comment, which is a character played by one of the Loremasters!
Notable actions should include things that have been threaded out this month, but can also include hand-waved interactions about interacting with the world of Kenos at large, and we in fact recommend this! Is your character a regular at a bar? Did they start modeling for a clothing shop they like? Or maybe they're often seen at one of the city's libraries this month because they're deeply researching a new topic. Let us know, since this helps us get a sense of what your character's interests in the world are and can help us create more customized hooks for your character in turn!
IC, characters are asked to at least check in with their faction’s second-in-command once a month, since they’re similarly interested in what characters are getting up to. This check-in is at the character’s leisure and meant to be casual IC as well! Depending on what characters tell their respective NPC, they may get special information or missions that are relevant to what they’ve been doing IC, or the NPC may be the one to ICly grant them the boon that’s bought OOC with Tokens. For more on your faction’s NPC, you can read up on both Cetina (Meridian) or Kathova (Zenith).
If your character does not have a faction affiliation, they’re not missing out, don’t worry! They may still receive information and/or missions, but they’re more likely to come from a generic, unnamed NPC instead. In terms of boons, you’re free to figure out how it’s received or hash it out with the mods.
(We also recommend keeping your Character Survey up to date, since you never know when a mod might think to reference it, hint hint!)

Tokens are earned through going above and beyond with game participation in the following ways:- Completing Bonus AC (1 token)

- Running a player-led event (2 Tokens) These happen once every 3 months (eg. Xanadu, World's Edge)

What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: Heliopolis, in the provided residences. He spends a lot of time in the city libraries too, and has become a regular of a teahouse in the Empório district.

- Claude engaged in the diplomatic mission to help secure Manon, and successfully persuaded both sides to question Manon on neutral ground.
- Later, he also participated in discussions on how Manon's questioning would be handled, at which point he had discussions with both Cyrus and Yima. He also summarised the general situation for both factions and neutral PCs.
- At the masquerade, he pestered Kian about the locked room... sorry Kian.

- He was involved in Manon's interrogation, and at Dextera's request, asked Manon to remove his eyepatch.
- Later, Claude captured Adelfoúla in conjunction with Misa and Set. The end of the thread was handwaved, but as discussed with loremoms, she surrendered and agreed to go to ~casa de claude~ for a week, as he promised he wouldn't harm her. She then cleaned his bomb site of an apartment. Thanks Adel!
- Was involved in the attempt to confront Aetós, and explored the Zoo with Byleth. Later, Amos contacted him to discuss that he had found Adelfoúla's shard fragment.

Despite their fierce reputations, Claude's wyvern is completely tame towards him, as learning wyvern handling is a rite of passage in his homeland. Although only shown in Three Hopes, his wyvern can also breathe fire, but Claude typically don't utilise this and mostly just uses it as a mount. Wyverns are physically tough, but weak to arrows or similar ranged projectiles that could shoot them out of the sky.

What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: Splitting time between Alenroux and Heliopolis
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: He kept the picture book he received (thanks Adelfoúla 🥺) and helped with disaster relief efforts during the second part of the Seeds of Unrest event, eg Hayame's thread where he ran into her while distributing supplies to rescue parties. He generally followed Cyrus's instructions and tried to save as many people as he could, while trying to keep his own blight to manageable levels.

Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Springstar, later Alenroux when the Blight became more severe in between helping with rescue/relief efforts so he could tend to his wyvern.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: See above! He split time between Springstar in his residence in Heliopolis and Alenroux.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: He met with Cyrus earlier in the month, and he brought his wyvern to the Alenroux encampment so she could be safe from the Blight. He also recruited the help of a retainer, who he has trained in helping him tend to the wyvern while he's otherwise preoccupied.
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): He's been contributing more hunting to the Alenroux camp since his wyvern moved in. Any surplus meat, materials etc. his wyvern doesn't eat is donated to the soldiers.

Purchasing: Failnaught, his bow

Description: A bow and family heirloom, handed down to him from his grandfather when he took over as Duke Riegan. In reality, while this Heroes' Relic is venerated by the Church of Seiros, the bow is made from the bones and heart of one of Sothis's slaughtered children, the Star Dragon. It requires a Crest to wield, and anyone who doesn't possess a Crest and wields it risks being consumed by its power and transformed into a Demonic Beast.
GIFT REWARD
In Claude's dream, he finds himself in the bustling streets of Springstar, surrounded by the enchanting sights and sounds of the city. As he walks through the marketplace, a distinguished man catches his attention. The man, a skilled craftsman known for their exceptional workmanship, approaches Claude with a glimmer of excitement in their eyes. As they explain, wyverns were the common mounts of their homeland and they miss them dearly.
With a gracious smile, the man presents Claude with a vision of a luxurious set of riding tack specially designed for his wyvern. The tack is crafted from the finest materials, adorned with intricate engravings and elegant details. Claude can almost feel the smoothness of the leather and the weight of the exquisite metal fittings in his hands.
As Claude awakens from his dream, he is greeted by a delightful surprise. To his amazement, his wyvern is already wearing the very set of riding tack he envisioned in his dream. The intricate engravings and elegant details perfectly match the vision that captivated his imagination. Yet, try as Claude might, he can’t find the man from his dream… In fact, there’s no one that seems to match the description at all.

- Attended the first cross-faction ambassador meeting and helped facilitate an agreement between Meridian and Zenith to deescalate tensions around Alenroux.
- ...And got chewed out by Hayame afterwards for compromising with them. He also checked in with Jyn to get a Zenith perspective on how things went.
- Visited Starlight Park to take a trip down memory lane in Fódlan, where he also encountered Dextera, and gave Gavial and Byleth a tour around his old stomping grounds in Derdriu.
- Beach episode! He celebrated his birthday with Hayame, got caught climbing up the side of the hotel while, uh, definitely not drunk by Bondrewd and Byleth, got trounced in a swimming competition with Dimitri, and had drinks at the pool with Rudbeckia, who he expressed concern over because of the state of her discord.

What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: He's moved to new apartment in Heliopolis, but this is mostly a front to throw off anyone potentially spying on him. He now spends most of his time at Hayame's new home.

If so, what/where?: He talked to Cyrus prior to the Oracle appearing, and helped evacuate Springstar NPCs prior to and soon after the Oracle's appearance. He would have helped coordinate preparations in general.

- during the attack on Springstar, defended the residential district as he judged it would be the least defended/most vulnerable and he could access it quickly by wyvern. Howl also joined him in helping defend the area

- discussed D's fun and freaky corpse experience with Cyrus and suggested finding more corpses to investigate with further

Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: Mainly defending NPC citizens and participating in the fighting. He also visited the Tribune to pay his last respects.

He would have helped at the hospital Hayame was being treated at as well in the immediate aftermath, such as helping bring supplies or carrying the wounded.
