ACTIVITY REWARDS
AC REWARDS
Since Kenos is a plot-heavy game based on engaging with other characters and the setting, we want to reward people that go above and beyond! Kenos does this through a Token system, which is a set of OOC rewards that translate to IC rewards. Using Tokens, you can make augment your character’s powers (or make completely new ones), get plot clues, or buy an exotic pet, to name a few things!
Tokens can be used to purchase items from the list below. If you have an idea for something you might like to use tokens on that isn’t listed or aren't sure how many tokens your idea would cost, feel free to ask! Mods may adjust the Token cost for some requests, since below are guidelines, and specific requests may fall into a different Token cost depending on the capabilities of the request.
Note, the Power Cap applies to all purchased items and powers, so they may require adjustment to fit underneath these limitations!
Finally, this system also includes a Powerlevel Discount. As a part of your application acceptance, you were assigned a Level based on the powers you described in your application. This Level entitles you to a discount of the prices above, which is as follows:
This discount is to help address power creep and try and make the stakes of the game more even. This way characters who come into the game well-equipped from their canon don’t dominate others, which results in better tension and stakes! With that in mind, mods may reduce or take away a character’s discount as they become more evenly matched with higher Levels, which you will be informed of.
In addition, this page is also used to share and submit your Notable Actions! Notable Actions sounds fancy, but it’s essentially a summary of what your character did during the month! This helps the Loremaster team by giving a good view of what characters are up to and interested in so that we can help the world be responsive to character actions. This summary can be a bulleted list or prose, and we would love it if it also included links, but it doesn’t have to. For an example of what we’re looking for, see this comment which shows the general format and what you can expect from rewards and/or this comment, which is a character played by one of the Loremasters!
Notable actions should include things that have been threaded out this month, but can also include hand-waved interactions about interacting with the world of Kenos at large, and we in fact recommend this! Is your character a regular at a bar? Did they start modeling for a clothing shop they like? Or maybe they're often seen at one of the city's libraries this month because they're deeply researching a new topic. Let us know, since this helps us get a sense of what your character's interests in the world are and can help us create more customized hooks for your character in turn!
IC, characters are asked to at least check in with their faction’s second-in-command once a month, since they’re similarly interested in what characters are getting up to. This check-in is at the character’s leisure and meant to be casual IC as well! Depending on what characters tell their respective NPC, they may get special information or missions that are relevant to what they’ve been doing IC, or the NPC may be the one to ICly grant them the boon that’s bought OOC with Tokens. For more on your faction’s NPC, you can read up on both Cetina (Meridian) or Kathova (Zenith).
If your character does not have a faction affiliation, they’re not missing out, don’t worry! They may still receive information and/or missions, but they’re more likely to come from a generic, unnamed NPC instead. In terms of boons, you’re free to figure out how it’s received or hash it out with the mods.
(We also recommend keeping your Character Survey up to date, since you never know when a mod might think to reference it, hint hint!)

Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Self explanatory!
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: This one too!

Were they blackout drunk and stumbling around the city? Did they help a kid who scraped his knees when he fell? Tell us what the populous saw your character up to this month! For anything important, please include a thread link!
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): Again, feel free to give us links to any threads with your character completed, contributed, or partook in something that contributed something to one of your factions/cities.

Did Your Character Check In?
With either Cetina or Kathova, if applicable. A simple yes or no is all we need, but if you want to add a detail like "they would have, but they were dead half of the month", that's fine.

March 2023
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Springstar, as part of his harmonization to Meridian and the beginning of his service to it. He did make a few trips to Highstorm though, especially for the Zenith Forum for new arrivals, because he wanted to see it for himself. But, truthfully, he's spent most of his time in Alenroux since his arrival, training with the troops and helping with monster culling.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: Living in the standard housing in the Tribune officially, but see above re: Alenroux. Most of his overnights have been spent in the temporary barracks and tents erected in Alenroux as part of the invasion.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: He went to the Tree of Life and attempted to climb it, out of curiosity. What's up at the top with all that glowy light anyway, you know? But as Link found out, you can't get to the top of something that's infinitely tall, and after getting kinda delirious the Tree acted to let him down gently. Thanks Tree Mommy. <3
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): Alenroux stuff, namely helping with building, hunting game, and thinning out the monster population. He would've been a common sight at many military training exercises too.
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: Very low, not even Tier 1. He's spent most of his time in Alenroux after all!
Did Your Character Check In? Yes. Aside from staring at Cetina in wonder (d-deer lady?!) the check-in wouldn't be too notable aside from that.
Reward Opt-Out: Are new characters even eligible for this? :thonk: Either way, yes.
April 2023
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Early in the month, Link was still helping out the Meridian forces in Alenroux, including assistance with Liem's scouting party. Once stuff started to get back in the cities, however, he left and has not gone back since. Link spent the majority of his time after that in Springstar assisting with the Blight problem, although he did spend one day in Highstorm to check on locals that he's become acquainted with in the course of all his odd jobs.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: He spent almost every day out in the city, helping to evacuate people and deal with Blight-related and time pocket-related issues. Aside from the week he spent regenerating following a dissipation inside a time pocket, and a handful of days of rest (that he took very reluctantly), he was extremely active with the rescue and relief efforts for the entire month.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: Not specific NPCs, but more like the city in general? See above re: being heavily involved in relief efforts. He would prioritize neighborhoods in the areas where he finds work to do in Springstar, so the people there might be starting to recognize him as that one exceptionally helpful and reliable Shard-Bearer.
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): Yeeees. TBH you could say that's literally everything he did this month falls under contributing to Springstar. He really wants to get home.
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: Between his frequent trips back and forth to Highstorm and his dissipation, Link is at tier 2 discord now. 👀
Did Your Character Check In? Yes — shortly after his regeneration, and in an effort to ask Cetina what areas needed the most help and what most needed to get done.
Token Purchase
Purchasing: The Master Sword
Cost: Major Item, so 2 tokens (four, minus the two token discount Link gets for being a Tier 1 character)
Description: It's basically the MacGuffin from the Legend of Zelda series and has a lot of assorted special properties to it, so I'll try to keep this brief and not let it turn into a lore dump. here is a wiki link if you'd like the full details!
~ swordddd!!: The Master Sword is, well, a sword, first and foremost. It is a single-handed sword with a long blade made from polished white metal. The hilt and grip are made from a bluish-purple metal and are adorned with gold and green decorations. The blade is double-edged. Even if someone is completely ignorant to what the sword is and what it can do, it would stand out to a casual observer as a beautiful and well-made piece of weaponry. For such a light-weight weapon (or, seemingly so when in Link's hand, see below), it is highly durable and cannot be broken or dulled by normal wear and tear.
~ High Effectiveness Against "Evil" Magic & Opponents: What sets the Master Sword apart from other weaponry is its divine origins. The sword was originally crafted thousands of years ago by a goddess and was further strengthened and tempered over and over, across many millennia, to be exceptionally deadly against evil magic and evil creatures. This applies not only to beings who are "evil," but "evil" magic itself, including people, creatures, and objects that are imbued with evil or being mind-controlled by evil forces. The sword has the power to shatter magic barriers and break curses on its targets when a strike lands.
A person "tainted" by evil cannot touch the sword without it causing pain/discomfort. When in the presence of something that is especially soaked in evil energy, the blade will start to shine and glow a soft blue-white light.
However, the sword's sacred power is not infinite — if used heavily in too short of a span of time, its power will be used up and some time will need to pass for it to "recover." For Kenos... let's say this would translate to a day's worth of battles needing a day of rest thereafter for the sword to fully recover. (But let me know if that doesn't work!) When the sword is in "rest" mode, it becomes as heavy and unusable for Link as it does for the average person who might try to pick it up.
I would have a permission post for it if we stick to it being effective against "evil", since that's a subjective thing anyway. I'd let other players tell me whether their characters fall under the dark magic/"evil" umbrella. (please ignore the original paragraph I had here about the sword being anti-Zenith; I decided I didn't like that idea even if you let it work that way. This is much more interesting imo!)
~ Sword Beam: While it still has power in its reserves, and if Link himself is fully rested and in peak physical condition, the sword can be swung in a way that emits a beam of energy in the direction of the slash. This attack has the same divine/holy attribute as the sword itself. It can travel approximately twenty feet (~7 m) before the energy loses its density and the attack dissipates. This long-ranged attack cannot be used if Link is injured or tired, since the sword draws on Link's own divine power in order to form the energy that goes into the attack.
~ Sapience: The Master Sword possesses a certain degree of "intelligence" to it that limits who can use it and a handful of other things. First, it can only be wielded by the goddess' Chosen Hero — for Kenos purposes, that means Link. Anyone else who tries to use it will find it to be much, much heavier than it looks and difficult to wield, but not impossible to touch or carry. This restrictive "ownership" feature arises partially from the fact that the sword itself has a limited level of consciousness and intelligence, thanks to an AI-like being embodied within it. The Master Sword chooses its owner, and being able to draw the sword from its resting place and wield it effectively is a sign that someone is the Goddess's Chosen Hero. In extremely rare circumstances, the sword can "talk" to others when necessary to relay important information, but this puts a strain on its power and is only done in dire circumstances.
Notes: Since this is a very significant regain for Link, I'm okay with this ICly constituting his reward for the month! He has to have some IC justification for where he got the sword, so, it being a reward from Cetina/Cyrus makes sense to me. Also I am done editing now, sorry for that, lmao
May 2023
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: 99% in Springstar, even when it was the dead version during the Oracle event.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: Aside from the part of the month that was taken up by the continued fight against the Blight, he mostly spent his time scrounging through Springstar looking for supplies. These search efforts were not focused anywhere in particular.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: See his April 2023 notable actions comment — prior to the Oracle event, he focused on rescue & relief efforts in the worst hit areas of Springstar. (Sorry, I'm not sure what to put here considering there were no NPCs during the Oracle event!)
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): Heavily grinding of the Help Springstar Citizens sidequest.
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: Let's say that when Link visited Cetina, it was right before the Oracle event began. At that point, his Discord was starting to get very high, hovering just under Tier 3. I am (probably) going to have him hit Tier 3 Discord coming out of the Oracle event, between talking to so many Zenites and the past several weeks being So Much for him.
Did Your Character Check In? Yes, prior to the Oracle event starting
Reward Opt-Out: I'll opt-out of a plot reward, but a gift reward might be nice, why not!
GIFT REWARD
Everyone else gets prose for these but, since this might be an opportunity for you to do something meaningful/cool for Link, I’ll explain it OOC instead! If you’d like, you can have Link have a dream about events in Tears of the Kingdom and tie them into some of his struggles in Kenos. It can be a premonition for his world/canon update as well as giving him a sense of connection to Kenos itself. In the dream he’ll be wearing the armor, and when he wakes, he’ll feel drawn to the Great Tree in Springstar. There among its roots he’ll find a parcel containing the armor.
AKA, have freedom with the dream itself since I’m both not canon familiar and TotK is fairly new, so just have fun with it!

Except... for his arm.
This is not his arm. There's no other way of putting it. The skin is black, the bones are too thin, the wrist is too narrow. The hand looks gaunt, with protruding knuckles and fingers tipped with long black nails, almost like claws. A foreign material is snaked around this strange arm, not wood but not metal either — some type of matter he's never seen before, arranged in a twisting. And the arm does not fade gracefully onto the rest of his body, but seems to attach like a puzzle piece into his shoulder, with the black skin slotting into his sandy complexion with a similar blocky pattern.
In the dream, he feels only the vaguest sense of anxiety when he looks at it. Perhaps his mind is simply operating on dream logic, never questioning the oddities his psyche cooks up until after he's awake and reflecting on it for those few minutes before the dream is forgotten forever and he goes about his day. But, no... that's not it. That's not quite the attitude he feels as his dreamself looks down at the arm. There is an unpleasant feeling when he looks at it, but it isn't shock or surprise. It isn't like he's seeing this strange arm for the first time, but rather, for the hundredth time. The sight of it no longer surprises him.
But it is not something he has accepted, either. When he looks at it, he feels... frustration. Dread. Urgency. A distinct, impatient anger.
The arm is placed back under the surface of the soothing water. Link sighs and leans back against the rocky edge of the pool to allow himself to soak. Snowflakes flutter down from the overcast sky above, cast in light grey from the sunshine behind the clouds. After a while, he gets out of the water and begins to change back into his clothing... but these clothes, too, are unfamiliar to him. Despite offering no way to fend of the biting cold, they make him feel invigorated. And his equipment is strange, too. The Master Sword isn't here. He thinks that in the dream, too, but in a passing sort of way, like its absence is yet another grim reminder of something terrible that has happened. Whatever that thing is does not come to him in the dream. He can only sense the shadow it casts on him.
When Link awakes, he spends a long time staring at the ceiling above his bed. If it weren't for the urge to visit the Great Tree that follows him to breakfast, and then lunch, and then into the afternoon, he might have brushed aside the dream as odd but insignificant. Later that evening, when he finds the parcel among its roots, he does not know what to make of it... but its contents prove beyond any doubt that it was no average dream.
June 2023
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Springstar
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: Aside from Springstar proper, he spent some time in Alenroux just to relax. (This time was unrelated to any of the faction tensions/military presence.) After a very stressful and disheartening Oracle event, Link mostly kept to himself and has been very preoccupied with trying to figure out what his best course of action is in Kenos going forward and what role he has to play in this conflict. He's no longer considering violence the only option, but he's sort of at a loss of what actually to do.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: n/a
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): Continuing to do odd jobs in the commercial areas of Springstar
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: Tier 3
Did Your Character Check In? Yes
July 2023
Due to having high Discord, Link mostly kept to himself this month. One big thing for him this month was meeting up with Akua to finally learn some basic magic spells (as soon as I'm done writing this I'm going to go comment to his Harmonization header to say which ones). Along with that, he was one of the ambassadors who participated in the diplomatic communion meeting about Alenroux, so he'll be part of the group who went to Cyrus with the results of that meeting! He's also accompanying Liem and Keitaro on the expedition to find and eliminate the source of the monsters in Alenroux, but that thread is ongoing. (And I'm not sure if it's technically taking place before the beach event, or after - if it's after then that's something he's going to be doing in August, not July.) And then of course, speaking of the beach event, he was there with everyone else at Xanadu for their forced vacation. While there, he had a lot of fun hanging out on the beach and at the mall, during which he learned how to play volleyball, ride a skateboard, and awkwardly mash his face against other people's faces to try to make his Discord go away.
Specific Actions
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Springstar, due to Discord making it uncomfortable to be anywhere else for very long.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: Because he was trying to avoid people as much as possible, Link stopped spending his overnights in his room at the Tribune. Also, due to the Discord described above and below, he couldn't go to his other preferred location, Alenroux, for very long either. It is a mystery as to where exactly he was sleeping every night! But some people in Springstar tell tales of a lone little elf guy lurking on rooftops and sleeping in alleyways. 👻
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: Ambassador talks happened publicly, so any NPCs who could tune in to those would have seen him there. Aside from that, he was very uncooperative when getting his hair cut after first arriving in Xanadu, and assuming that Diane can watch/see everything that happens at the resort, she'll be aware of everything he was up to while there.
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): Ambassador talks, but aside from that, n/a for this month.
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: Reduced to Tier 2, just under the threshold of hitting Tier 3. He received some relief from Bondrewd and Quetzalcoatl, but because Stargazer has a neutral relationship with Savant, this relief was only temporary. A well-intentioned encounter with Dimitri ended up making his Discord slightly worse due to their aspects being incompatible. And, of course, being in Xanadu means he was away from Springstar for a while, which also made it worse! Thankfully, a drunken one night stand with Gen helped keep his Discord from getting too high — what would've otherwise been very high Tier 3 Discord at the end of the month has been knocked down to a very high Tier 2 instead.
Did Your Character Check In? No. Sorry for making you worry, Cetina...
Reward Opt-Out: I will opt-out for this month! Pax and I have some plotty things cooking with Bondrewd for after the Oracle event, and since he isn't seeing Cetina this month, it would be hard to get any gifts to him anyway.
Notes: I believe that I'm hitting the cap of 5 tokens this month, but not going over it. If I'm wrong, just let me know, and I'll spend a token or two on some spellbook powers.

September 2023
Link started the month off feeling pretty good, thanks to the Meridian's Oracle win! Renewed hope (and relieved Discord) allowed him to travel to Highstorm for the first time after a while, like he used to do when doing the odd jobs and deliveries that he takes to support himself. And then...... the flavor-blastening happens, about mid-month; as a T4 discord monster he escapes from Kowloon out into Springstar, flies around for a few hours (causing quite the scene), and is taken out by the team of Gen, Gavial and Yuri before he can accidentally hurt anyone. Then Bondrewd shows up to steal his Shard for Aetos. :^)
Specific Actions

Did Your Character Check In? No, he was... not around!
Reward Opt-Out: opting out!
Token Purchase None this month, but as a result of his canon update, he's a T3 character now for future token purchasing! Dunno really where to put that, but here it is.
October 2023
Link regenerated following his dissipation+experimentation by Aetos... but he came back with five years' worth of new memories from home and thousands of years worth of past lives and lost history from his homework. This would be enough to break most people's brains, and for a few weeks, the most he could do was mumble incoherently about it and feel totally miserable and confused. He mostly stayed in his room in the Tribune, relying on friends to bring him food from the dining hall and anything else he needed. The October event is what finally gets him out of his house and talking again, but even then, he didn't get into much mischief.

(I thiiiink this puts me back at either 4 or 5 tokens? I don't remember what tokens I earned in November, sob. But I don't think I'm over the cap anymore!)
November 2023
Leading up to the Oracle event, Link started having a crisis of faith. The more time that's passed since his ordeal with Aetos, the more he's had to ponder the truth of Hyrule's situation, his past lives, and the dismal circumstances waiting for him if he were to make it home somehow. A few days before the Oracle appears, this all comes to a head, and Link finds himself involuntarily deharmonizing from the Meridian. Even when he attempts to harmonize to it again, he finds that he can't — he can no longer convince himself that he truly believes in its goals. During the Oracle, which pushes characters to prove what they're willing to do to "win," Link realizes that the one thing he knows he still wants is to save Zelda. After a friendly conversation with Zenith's neighborhood demon, Link harmonizes to the Zenith and decides that he has to make it out of the maze alive so that he can ask Yima for Zelda's Shard. Immediately following the end of the Oracle, Link will head to Highstorm, where he will most likely end up living in the woods of the Beyond like a scrungly hermit.
Specific Actions
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Springstar pre-Oracle, Highstorm post-Oracle
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: mostly the Tribune and the surrounding area, his usual haunts. After the Oracle, he'll check in with Kathova at Yima's Manor to get situated and ask for Zelda's Shard.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: n/a
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): n/a
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: 0
Did Your Character Check In? Yes
Notes: I did a much needed update to my character survey. ✨
December 2023
Link's first month as a Zenite is spent in relative solitude. He's still hiding out in the Beyond from the effects of the Oracle being broadcasted to the populace at large. The wisdom of his decision, and whether it was the right thing to do, continues to weigh on his mind greatly, along with his increasing awareness of just how complicated the situation in Kenos actually is.
But he isn't completely isolated — thanks to a holiday visit from a certain sun goddess, Link ventures into Highstorm seeking help with taking care of a Silent Princess bud that showed up at his campsite, as the flower is notoriously delicate. This is what gets him finally in the streets of Highstorm, seeing more of the city and running into old and new acquaintances. Among these, he runs into several people at the hot springs around Greenwood Yards, has dinner at Sebastian's house, makes an attempt at the Yule goat with Gavial and very nearly burns it down, comforts Gen following his revival from dissipation, and receives a special locket from Amos for safely carrying around Zelda's Shard.
Finally, Link connects with Drizzt, who he met for the first time during the Oracle. They get to talking, and the topic of Set's plan to build something in the Beyond comes up, but they don't make any concrete plans regarding what to do about it yet (if anything).
Specific Actions
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Highstorm
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: The Beyond, the streets of Highstorm, short visits to certain neighborhoods, a few trips to Greenwood Yards. Noticeably, he never goes back to Yima's Manor during the whole month.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: I guess he did help diffuse a potentially thorny situation when Raphael decides to visit a cafe Highstorm and promptly starts getting jeered at. But aside from that, he's avoiding NPCs whenever possible.
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): N/A
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: Tier 1
Did Your Character Check In? No. Link purposefully fails to check in with Kathova during December, and actually, has not made any trips back to Yima's Manor since his very first check-in back in late November to get Zelda's Shard.
Token Purchase
Purchasing: Minor Power
Cost: 2 Tokens
Description: ✨Resistance to Evil Magic!✨ Okay so this is gonna be the groundwork for Link eventually developing his own evil-vanquishing powers as he strives to better himself now that the Master Sword is gone. I figured that instead of just being a duplicate of what the Master Sword could do, something similar but not identical would be best, and it can't be that major to start off with. So how about something defensive instead of offensive? Especially since he's been getting blasted with evil magic on the regular for a long time now anyway, haha.
You guys can let me know if this is too broad for a minor power, but what I'm thinking of is a resistance to magic that is evil/shadow/demonic/void/darkness/etc aligned, which I will just refer to as "evil-aspected" for short. Basically, the kind of magic that the Master Sword was powerful against.
This would make him resistant to:
- Evil-aspected magic attacks (subject to player opt-in for whether their character counts as using "evil magic," just like the Master Sword was)
- Curses (and their equivalents, i.e. voodoo vex) & evil-aspected debuffs
- Evil-aspected defensive magic (Example: someone casts a protective spell on themselves where someone will become tainted with shadow/darkness or something like that if they attempt to attack them — Link would resist the effects of something like this)
This is NOT a full immunity to any of the above, but a resistance. So, either he wouldn't suffer the full effect of the magic, or his opponent has to exert themselves extra hard to make the magic stick to Link in the same way.
IDK to what degree the resistance is... I mean, I don't have a reason not to ask for it to be as strong as you guys will let me, haha. But what about the equivalent to like, a 50% resistance? If that's too much, 30%?

January 2024
Link was around in Highstorm for the early part of the month, including the new year festivities and the welcoming banquet for new arrivals, but shortly after he trekked off into the Beyond with Drizzt to try to track down the mysterious weapon that the Meridian are building somewhere within it. Using Speak with Animals along the way, he bribes local birds and squirrels to give him tips on where the Meris are, slowly heading north towards Set's temple. They're slowly heading towards it, but have not yet found it by the end of the month.
Specific Actions
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Highstorm
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: The Beyond
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: n/a
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): n/a
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: 1
Did Your Character Check In? Let's say that he actually did this month, during the Zenith presentation to the new arrivals... or maybe more accurately, Kathova might've chased him down when he noticed that Link was actually present at the Manor for once.
February 2024
Link and Drizzt finally made their way to the Temple of Isis in the far northern reaches of the Beyond, where Set's weapon was being built. After they gathered intel for a few days with the use of Speak to Animals, Shez notices a flock of crows acting strangely and decides to investigate. This is where he happens upon Link, and after a short but violent clash, Link is dissipated. In the seconds before his death, he manages to send a barebones warning to Yima about the Meri's upcoming attack on the Manor; due to the hurried nature of the Communion, an echo of the warning also reaches the other Zenites and Savants.
Shez retrieves Link's Shard, along with the Shard of Princess Zelda, which Link had on his person at the time of his death, and manages to guard them both from being shattered by any of the more militant Meris until he's able to return to the Tree to allow Link to revive. However, by the time he comes back, the assault on Springstar has already happened, so Link is immediately arrested by Legionnaires upon awaking from beneath the Tree and thrown into jail in Springstar. Once in jail, he meets Gavial, who was also captured, and the need to help her escape gives him the determination to escape as well.
Once he's escaped and on the lam in Springstar, it takes a few days to actually make it out of the city, as he's under the effects of revival sickness, Zenith discord, and generally being starved/tired/mentally and emotionally exhausted. With the help of Alice, he's able to make it to one of the remaining Cornerstones and finally teleport back to Highstorm... where he finds that his warning apparently did nothing.
From there, Link spends several days recuperating in the area around the Manor before disappearing back into the Beyond.
Specific Actions
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Mostly Highstorm, although he spent about 4-5 days in Springstar, and made a trip to Alenroux at the very end of the month to get Zelda's Shard back from Shez.
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: In Springstar, he spent a few days in jail and a few days thereafter wandering the streets, scrounging for food, and avoiding detection. In Highstorm, he spent a few days resting and recovering at one of the makeshift refuges set up around the Manor's ruins. After that, he went back to his camp in the Beyond, but makes trips into the city daily.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: He and Gavial escaped from jail in Springstar, but uh... that would've happened outside the watch of the Legionnaires who run the jail.
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): After returning to Highstorm, Link spent about a week recovering from resurrection sickness and the emotional toll of what happened earlier in the month. Then, he throws himself entirely into foraging for food and resources in the Beyond to deliver into Highstorm — not only food, but also materials to be used as reagents by Highstorm's magicians, mages and sorcerers. He has been going door-to-door in the Antiques & Baubles Market selling them for what could be considered a loss, if not simply giving them away to those most in need.
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: Tier 2

March 2024
Following his dissipation and the attacks on the two cities, Link started to come out of his shell a little and spend more time in Highstorm itself. Hoping to ease the burden on the city, he put his survival skills to use and foraged for food and magic reagents in the Beyond, for use among those whose supplies were being squeezed by the crisis. He also spent time getting to know some of the other longtime Zenites, opening his mind to some perspectives he had never considered before, even after converting himself!
Prior to the Oracle, he initiated the obligatory gossip post and made a mostly unsuccessful attempt to convince his allies not to shatter any more Shards. During the Oracle, he focused on surviving, helping others and attempting to locate World Shards, although he was only able to grab one over the course of the event. He also located and kept his own Dreamer Shard.
Specific Actions
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: Went door-to-door in the Antiques and Baubles Market selling foraged items from the Beyond, sometimes at very low prices, depending on people's need.

Specific Actions

What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: He's basically still living out of his and Drizzt's Resting Room, which is near the Fields of Fantasia... so, mostly still hanging out in the Beyond, but he also did a lot of exploring in the city.
