While filling out this survey isn’t required, it’s highly recommended! How else can we effectively torment or reward your blorbo if we don’t know what they hate/love? ♥

THE GOOD
How far would they go to accomplish their goals or fulfill their desires? Do they have lines they wouldn't cross?
Yuri will absolutely get his hands dirty in service of his goals. To skirt potential content warning-worthy specifics, Yuri has done things that make him feel no small degree of self-loathing in order to survive and claw his way up in the world. In Hopes, his people struggle more in the course of the war, to the point that Yuri doubts he can achieve the full scope of his goals (until a conversation with King Dimitri). Despite this, as he tells Ashe, he'll become a feared and hated figure if that's what it takes to protect his people. He'd martyr himself if it came down to it. Even so, Yuri has standards. He's unwilling to victimize the weak or innocent or sacrifice them to achieve his goals.
What is something they treasure?
Above all else? Yuri loves his mother and strives to keep her safe and happy. As objects go, the notebook he was given by Aubin and writes the names of those he's lost in. His people are also extremely important to him, as they are a source of drive to press forward.
What do they consider to be their best or most positive qualities?
If Yuri were completely honest? His faith is one quality he has no mixed feelings about. What he'll admit to, on the other hand, would be his beauty, intellect, and tenacity. He knows what he's capable of and he knows how to use it... Which says a great deal about how accustomed he is to being seen as a commodity.
What is this character's best memory?
Most likely? Learning to read alongside his mother. Most commoners in Fódlan are illiterate, but Yuri and his mother were taught by an old man his mother had nursed back to health. That literacy opened the world to them both.
Is there anyone they have highly positive feelings towards?
Number one is his mom and no one is ever going to supplant her. His mom is his world and one of his highest priorities is taking care of her. He worries over her frail health. King Dimitri has his total, sincere respect, which is a feat when typically Yuri's views of the nobility are far from sterling.
For friends, who have to yell at him when he doesn't process that yes really they are friends and don't just want something out of it, we have: Ashe, Balthus, Constance, Hapi, and Shez. He thinks well of Marianne, though her self-deprecating tendencies frustrate him at times.
Byleth's growing on him a bit. Mercenary comrade who's surprisingly earnest and kind for being the scourge of the battlefield.
THE BAD
What could or would tempt your character to compromise their principles?
Honestly? This may be impossible. His mother's life was threatened to coerce him into working for Aelfric, and Yuri still actively undermined him the entire time. At no point was he going along with sacrificing his friends in some blood ritual. According to the developers, outside the dlc, these events would simply have occurred without Byleth's involvement.
Sacrificing the innocent is a line he simply won't cross. Doing things that make him feel disgusting and unlovable? Yes, he will, for survival or to protect others.
What do they desire above all else?
To build a better world in which commoners aren't trampled underfoot by those with power. For some time, Yuri thought this goal was out of reach, but he's come to find it may truly be possible. Notably, he wants that better world for the people already living in the present one — they can't be replaced, and the endeavor isn't worthwhile otherwise.
Also, again, the safety and happiness of his mother.
What are their biggest fear and/or insecurities?
Insecurities are a whole airport's worth of luggage that boils down to feeling unworthy. Yuri has had to do a great many things he isn't proud of, first to survive and then to claw his way up in the world and have the power to help others, and he doesn't forgive himself. He genuinely questions whether he has a place in that better world once it becomes a reality.
As fears go? Failing to protect the people who rely on him.
What is this character's worst memory?
Allowing himself to be used by nobles as a substitute for people they could not have. Yuri heavily alludes to this on multiple occasions and regards much of the nobility with a measured contempt as a result, particularly those from Enbarr.
Incidentally, his low opinion of nobles is the reason getting to know Dimitri makes his attitude toward him turn on a dime.
Is there anyone they have highly negative feelings towards?
With some exceptions, the nobility at large in Fódlan. All those who abuse their power, use or victimize their people, are scum so far as Yuri's concerned. Most of the bad apples are dead by this point in the war, but anyone who leverages power to harm others would be just as lowly in Yuri's eyes.
Also Aelfric for everything he did to try and resurrect a dead woman he was obsessed with.
THE ET CETERA
What kinds of gifts does your character like?
Yuri loves sweets and is not shy about having a sweet tooth. He'd favor pastries in particular, especially in quantities sufficient to share with others. Like others from Fódlan, he enjoys drinking tea, especially his favorites: Albinean Berry Blend, Honeyed-Fruit Blend, and Seiros Tea. Any of those would be very welcome since they're specific to home.
Honestly sweets and tea could cover him... But he's also fond of the stars, so something related to them would interest him too. Books or iconography relating to his faith in the goddess Sothis are things he'd be happy with too. Cookbooks, cookware, or new recipes to try are great also.
Yuri also has an interest in the technologies of other cultures, so texts pertaining to this are likewise something he'd be interested in.
What item(s) would your character be pleased to receive as a reward?
Yuri's fairly easy to please. Currency is king since he can use that to acquire most anything else, of course. He'll accept ingredients or food if the amount is equal to the nature of the task, or kitchen implements if those are on offer since he can use them. Practical use is most important with rewards, so far as he's concerned.
He'd accept information too, as long as it's actionable or usable in some way that furthers his intelligence-gathering, as he wants to know what's really going on here.
What item(s) would your character never ask for, but you, the player, would want to give them?
A picture of his mother, if it were at all possible. Photography isn't a thing in Fódlan. I'd love to get him some glow in the dark stars he can stick to the ceiling, which likewise don't exist in his world, so he wouldn't know to want them.

Personal growth is a very generic thing to say, but it's true. Yuri has a great deal of room to grow, and ideally, somewhere down the line he'd be able to view himself as a good man.
In the meantime, he's keenly interested in figuring out what's really going on here, because he's not buying into the narrative. Guy who fully believes in the goddess without proof does not believe his world was obliterated. Anything that comes along with his efforts to glean information (possibly with a side of subterfuge) would be fun to play with, whether he succeeds or lands himself in hot water.
Yuri's incredibly tenacious, so any challenges that come his way should be a fun time. Since he's new at the moment, he's getting his bearings and feeling this place out.
