Because one of the goals of Kenos is to give characters unique, compelling reasons to both show loyalty to their faction and to question it, it’s helpful to get to know them better! While filling out this survey isn’t required, it’s highly recommended! How else can we effectively torment or reward your blorbo if we don’t know what they hate/love? ♥

THE GOOD

She’ll do whatever’s within her power and will put forth extra effort for things that really catch her interest or seem worthwhile. What she is NOT about is putting other people in danger or seeing other people do so. During her first trip back home after running away, an old friend of hers, Zumama, had risen to lead a sizable number of their people in her own tribe. A miscommunication led Gavial to believe that Zumama had ordered her people into the Originium-infested mines for her, leading to someone getting Infected. Gavial’s first instinct upon hearing this? To run off to find Zumama so she could kick her ass for endangering people.
What is something they treasure?
Freedom to follow her own dreams, huge and cool weapons, strength.
What do they consider to be their best or most positive qualities?
This girl is SO proud of how strong she is and would be delighted to show it off. Her healing abilities and medical knowledge are also up there for practical qualities for her, and she really hates being doubted in that respect. She’s very compassionate about others even though she’s kind of bad at expressing it properly sometimes. And her straightforwardness is a great quality in her opinion.
What is this character's best memory?
Probably a toss-up for early memories of home, any kick-ass fights, or when she discovered her talent for medicine.

THE BAD
What could or would tempt your character to compromise their principles?
Honestly, not much. Gavial has an incredibly strong will and she’s stubborn as hell. Nothing short of threatening people at large might get her to hesitate, and it would only result in making her REALLY want to kick the ass of whoever’s responsible afterward.
What do they desire above all else?
A cure for Oripathy to help people back home. 🥺
What are their biggest fear and/or insecurities?
Being pulled away from following her dreams by other responsibilities. And she absolutely won’t admit this outright because she’s surprisingly accepting of her prognosis, but she would hate not being able to do as much good as she possibly can before her Oripathy eventually kills her.
Actually, related to that—she would be low-key afraid of becoming an Infection vector if she were to die here in Kenos. 😬
What is this character's worst memory?
The time spent in her tribe immediately after she contracted Oripathy. She hated getting special treatment, she hated being treated as weak or fragile, and she lashed out by defeating every contender in the Mahuizzotia festival before running away from home. Despite how easy-going she can be, those first couple of years she spent as a mercenary after that were probably kind of lonely.

What kinds of gifts does your character like?
Practical stuff, things for combat or strength training, medical texts.
What item(s) would your character be pleased to receive as a reward?
-literally any kind of melee weapon, particularly bladed ones. This bitch is carrying seven weapons on her in her dps-alter’s artwork. She will never tire of getting these.
-training weights for lifting. Bonus points if it’s like these ones that serve as her in-game tokens because the mental image of someone having to deliver one to her is hilarious.
-first aid kits/medical supply bags, that sort of thing. Potentially infinitely giftable bc she has a bad habit of losing her supply bags after using them as blunt weapons on the battlefield. She has her priorities, y’know?
What item(s) would your character never ask for, but you, the player, would want to give them?
-idk some kind of miniature version of The Big Ugly Thing to put on a shelf??
-A cute crocodile doll. Bonus points if it has a thick tail bc it will make Gavial mad.
-Maybe a dreamcatcher since Tomimi likes them.

She's still kind of going with the flow for things at large... She'll be keeping an eye on making sure the Blight cures get put to good use to stop it, but now that that crisis is mostly over, she'll be looking for something new to pour herself into. Since Zenith might be getting more proactive about certain things in Alenroux soon, she might turn her attention toward that. She'd be interested in helping some of the Alenroux locals learn to defend themselves, and tbh she'd want to help them seize some independence from both factions.
