While filling out this survey isn’t required, it’s highly recommended! How else can we effectively torment or reward your blorbo if we don’t know what they hate/love? ♥

THE GOOD
How far would they go to accomplish their goals or fulfill those desires? Do they have lines they wouldn't cross?
Once Sebastian gets a concrete goal in mind, his dedication to it is near obsessive. With his contract to Ciel, for example, he will stop at nothing to fulfill it and works diligently to always push forward in accomplishing his goals. It's just always about catching his attention first. If Sebastian has decided to do something, it will be done, whether it's as easy as a wave of his hand or it takes several centuries to accomplish. There’s no line he wouldn’t cross to see his goals fulfilled, though he’s the sort of person that won’t go with an extreme option because it’s the easiest. He’s very aware of how extreme options can make things more difficult down the line, so he doesn’t prefer them. But if necessary? He has no qualms with doing morally reprehensible things. They’re not morals that apply to him, after all.
What is something they treasure?
Not in himself, but Sebastian treasures the quality of what I’ll call “noble tragedy”. This is when a person is faced with an impossible circumstance where their choices are particularly cruel, but they meet it with dignity. It doesn’t mean that they make the better choice, however. It’s better if they make one that makes them into a worse person. He treasures this because it makes a soul his favorite flavor over time.
What do they consider to be their best or most positive qualities?
His cunning, intelligence, and dedication to his principles. Once Sebastian gives his word, he won’t go back on it. But he may also only follow his word to the exact letter and will gladly step around it when it becomes troublesome.
What is this character's best memory?
Since Sebastian is old as balls but his canon only covers a few years of it, I have a headcanon answer that’s vague and a canon timeline answer, so.
In the headcanon realm, Sebastian has had countless contracts for thousands of years before meeting Ciel. As such, some of these contracts would have been more fun to him than others! As a mentioned off-hand example, Sebastian is responsible for causing the Black Plague (oops), so seeing that plan come together by chance is absolutely something he would take great pleasure in. Also more generally, any time a contract is completed, and he gets to eat a soul is wonderful.
In the canon timeline of events, it would be when he was summoned. He got to do a ton of murder, see Ciel despair, and get to negotiate a contract with a particularly clever person. It’s a good day for a demon! This has HUGE spoilers about the central twist of the manga and has quite a lot of gore, but you can read that chapter here.
Is there anyone they have highly positive feelings towards?
Essentially no, but the strongest would definitely be Ciel Phantomhive, his former contractor.
THE BAD
What could or would tempt your character to compromise their principles?
In terms of his personal, demonic principles, very little, but these are also so arbitrary that they may as well not count… As a better example, if Sebastian is in a contract with someone, his dedication to it is a better analogue for “principles” in terms of the root of this question. Sebastian is extremely dedicated to his contracts and there’s little that could pull him from them… But not nothing. If someone can offer him a better deal than whatever situation he finds himself in, then he’d compromise easily.
What do they desire above all else?
Entertainment. Or slightly more accurately, not being bored. Sebastian is an ancient and very powerful demon, and as such, truly desires very little. He has no material wants or needs, but instead enjoys playing at being a butler to a young boy solely because he finds it interesting. He's a demon that enjoys talking to people and learning about them just as much as he would enjoy betraying and killing them. By his view, they're nearly equivalent solely because they provide an enjoyable activity for him to partake in. It's why he offers contracts to humans, since there's little he finds more personally enriching.
Also a good meal, naturally, but that solidly falls under this broader umbrella.
What are their biggest fear and/or insecurities?
Sebastian only feels fear when he’s in a contract, and this is because humans are terribly, terribly fragile and extremely prone to dying. Unfortunate, since they’re his dinner! When he’s not in a contract, he’s quite fearless, since even the prospect of dying is something he doesn’t mind, really.
In terms of insecurities, though… Sebastian wants to be perceived as someone who is cool and to be praised, so he’s a very insecure and petty baby when his skill or competence is questioned. He’s also very vain and takes it super personally when he’s not aesthetically pleasing, regardless of his current form. Also he hates being called old? What a fucking weirdo.
What is this character's worst memory?
Arriving in Horos and realizing that his contract with Ciel had been ended and therefore that Ciel’s soul had slipped out of his grasp. He had been cultivating Ciel’s soul not unlike a farmer raising a prize pig for slaughter, so it was a great amount of effort that was wasted without him ever getting a taste of his work.

He’d genuinely rather be praised than receive a gift but will accept any graciously. He may just also give them to someone else. If his Faction essentially pats him on the head and tells him he did a good job, that’s all he wants.
