RULES
RULES
1. Kenos is 18+. While characters may be younger, all players must be 18 or over to apply to and play in the game. Any player found to be underage will be immediately removed.
2. Be considerate and respectful. Treat your fellow players like you want to be treated. Communicate with mods and players when in doubt or if you’re having an issue. Harassment, bullying, and hostility will not be tolerated.
3. No godmodding, metagaming, infomodding, etc. Don't assume information or actions about someone else's character, project OOC knowledge onto characters that hasn't been feasibly established IC, or "play-to-win" against the setting and other characters.
4. Be kind, be cooperative. Kenos is a faction game where conflict is an inherent part of the premise, but this should only ever be IC. Overly competitive behavior is toxic to our community and will not be tolerated—All players in the game are people to play with, not to "beat". Individuals who create an antagonistic or uncooperative OOC environment, intentionally or otherwise, will get one warning, and if the behavior persists, will be removed from the game.
5. Participate and be active. Kenos is founded from the passionate engagement of a dedicated playerbase. The game has a soft cap of 45 players and hard cap of 60 players, so squatting will be monitored in the interest of fairness to the player cap. All players are expected to meet the activity requirement of ten comments per month (more detail here), and if unable to do so, a hiatus should be taken. Failing AC will immediately remove a character from the game and failing to submit AC entirely means you cannot reapply to the game.
6. Warn for content appropriately. Please use subject lines, cuts, etc. for mature and graphic content. Your level of comfort for sensitive topics may not be the same as someone else's, so it’s better to err on the side of caution.

As a semi-private, player-vetted game, we highly prioritize fostering and maintaining a collaboratively fun environment for players to safely and comfortably play in. There is no strike system, rules will be strictly enforced, and we reserve the right to remove offending players at our discretion.
