🏹 Finally coming to a conclusion after awkwardly speaking with her friends about relationships, Hayame began trying to practice admitting her feelings for Claude von Riegan Khalid
🏹 Though she observed Sebastian's post about his corrupted shard and felt quite pettily pleased enough about the idea of him losing something precious to him, she refrained from saying anything
🏹 When Liem came to her and admitted his role in planting the corrupted shards, though, she ripped into him for not taking proper back-up when he should know how dangerous the demon was after what happened to her
🏹 In Alenroux, after being mistaken for a monster, she tried to scold a new shard-bearer into Meridian
🏹 When the chaos in Springstar caused by the sudden attacks from Kowloon began, she took to the streets with the Legionary to defend the city and kill all those she could find perpetuating violence
🏹 Though Gavial had turned to helping citizens, Hayame did not see this, and attacked her on sight as a Zenite
🏹 Unfortunately, when the death of the Tribune ripped through Meridian shard-bearers, she lost her focus for just long enough for the tide of battle to turn... and for the ladies to find out what happens in a half-destroyed bakery when flame hits flour in the air
🏹 Beneath the rubble, Hayame nearly gave up... But the last hope from Cyrus inspired her to use her human-shape bracelet to try and shift form and use that to free herself, managing to crawl to the surface where Nebula was able to rescue her
🏹 Once the adrenaline wore off and injuries caught up with her, Hayame fell unconscious... and the human-shape threw off identification in the makeshift field hospital, leaving her unclaimed and potentially KIA
🏹 Once the transformation wore off she was recognized by one of the regulars at the monthly meeting of centaurine Springstar citizens, and he located Claude, who had the previous meeting been finally introduced to the group as Hayame's lover
🏹 When she regained consciousness to find him at her bedside, Hayame was finally able to return Claude's feelings in actual words, not just vague hints and awkward action
🏹 During her recovery, she was visited by Dimitri, who wished to discuss immediate military action against Highstorm
🏹 She was horrified to learn that D had attempted reincarnating Cyrus, and she tried to berate him from her sickbed
🏹 Hayame made herself up and limped her way to Cyrus' laying-in-state to pay her last respects to the Tribune
🏹 At the Church, she was approached by Yuri and Ryoma to discuss recent events and what was to come
🏹 She then took to Communion to lecture those members of Meridian she views as weak/useless, to victim blame Quetz for her foolish death, and to threaten all Zenites... Though it was not received well by many, she dug her hooves in and doubled down
