December 2023

Notable Actions
Link's first month as a Zenite is spent in relative solitude. He's still hiding out in the Beyond from the effects of the Oracle being broadcasted to the populace at large. The wisdom of his decision, and whether it was the right thing to do, continues to weigh on his mind greatly, along with his increasing awareness of just how complicated the situation in Kenos actually is.

But he isn't completely isolated — thanks to a holiday visit from a certain sun goddess, Link ventures into Highstorm seeking help with taking care of a Silent Princess bud that showed up at his campsite, as the flower is notoriously delicate. This is what gets him finally in the streets of Highstorm, seeing more of the city and running into old and new acquaintances. Among these, he runs into several people at the hot springs around Greenwood Yards, has dinner at Sebastian's house, makes an attempt at the Yule goat with Gavial and very nearly burns it down, comforts Gen following his revival from dissipation, and receives a special locket from Amos for safely carrying around Zelda's Shard.

Finally, Link connects with Drizzt, who he met for the first time during the Oracle. They get to talking, and the topic of Set's plan to build something in the Beyond comes up, but they don't make any concrete plans regarding what to do about it yet (if anything).

Specific Actions
Which city did your character spend most of their time in during this AC period?: Highstorm
What venues or residences did they spend the majority of their time in while there?: The Beyond, the streets of Highstorm, short visits to certain neighborhoods, a few trips to Greenwood Yards. Noticeably, he never goes back to Yima's Manor during the whole month.
Did your character perform any notable actions in front of NPC's in either city this month? If so, what/where?: I guess he did help diffuse a potentially thorny situation when Raphael decides to visit a cafe Highstorm and promptly starts getting jeered at. But aside from that, he's avoiding NPCs whenever possible.
Did your character contribute to either city? (Resources, work, side quests, etc - this includes Kowloon): N/A
What is their current discord level (at the time of their check-in)?: Tier 1

Did Your Character Check In? No. Link purposefully fails to check in with Kathova during December, and actually, has not made any trips back to Yima's Manor since his very first check-in back in late November to get Zelda's Shard.

Token Purchase
Purchasing: Minor Power
Cost: 2 Tokens
Description: ✨Resistance to Evil Magic!✨ Okay so this is gonna be the groundwork for Link eventually developing his own evil-vanquishing powers as he strives to better himself now that the Master Sword is gone. I figured that instead of just being a duplicate of what the Master Sword could do, something similar but not identical would be best, and it can't be that major to start off with. So how about something defensive instead of offensive? Especially since he's been getting blasted with evil magic on the regular for a long time now anyway, haha.

You guys can let me know if this is too broad for a minor power, but what I'm thinking of is a resistance to magic that is evil/shadow/demonic/void/darkness/etc aligned, which I will just refer to as "evil-aspected" for short. Basically, the kind of magic that the Master Sword was powerful against.

This would make him resistant to:
- Evil-aspected magic attacks (subject to player opt-in for whether their character counts as using "evil magic," just like the Master Sword was)
- Curses (and their equivalents, i.e. voodoo vex) & evil-aspected debuffs
- Evil-aspected defensive magic (Example: someone casts a protective spell on themselves where someone will become tainted with shadow/darkness or something like that if they attempt to attack them — Link would resist the effects of something like this)

This is NOT a full immunity to any of the above, but a resistance. So, either he wouldn't suffer the full effect of the magic, or his opponent has to exert themselves extra hard to make the magic stick to Link in the same way.

IDK to what degree the resistance is... I mean, I don't have a reason not to ask for it to be as strong as you guys will let me, haha. But what about the equivalent to like, a 50% resistance? If that's too much, 30%?
