had a brief chat with aetos and learnt from them that shattering a shard just completely obliterates a person from existence, so she has something to be fucking terrified of now.
halloween! the original rudbeckia of the novel made an appearance to vent her frustrations on a few people, ruby got to see her real face for the first time in years and will be hung up on that for a long while, and overall she came out with less trauma than expected.
