This would be enough to break most people's brains, and for a few weeks, the most he could do was mumble incoherently about it and feel totally miserable and confused. He mostly stayed in his room in the Tribune, relying on friends to bring him food from the dining hall and anything else he needed. The October event is what finally gets him out of his house and talking again, but even then, he didn't get into much mischief.
